Tattoo Policies
Please read the following policies before submitting a tattoo request or booking an appointment. By booking with me, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
Booking & Appointments
Appointments are booked through my online booking system or directly with me. For custom tattoos, submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment. I will review your request and reach out regarding availability, pricing, and next steps.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive significantly late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and your deposit may be forfeited. The cutoff is 15 minutes, you have a grace period until 15 minutes after your appointment time begins until the appointment may be rescheduled. Once it hits 15 minutes after your appointment time, I have the right to reschedule the appointment, unless you reached out to me and I approved you arriving later than 15 minutes after your appointment. Even if this is the case, your deposit may be forfeited. If an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment. Your deposit is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are not transferable to another person.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. With adequate notice, your deposit can be transferred to your rescheduled appointment.
Late cancellations and no-shows will result in the loss of your deposit. A new deposit may be required to book another appointment.
If an emergency occurs, please reach out to me as soon as possible. Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Custom Tattoos
Custom tattoo requests are reviewed individually. Pricing and appointment length depend on the size, placement, detail, and complexity of the tattoo.
Submitting a request does not mean that the tattoo is automatically approved or booked.
I reserve the right to decline a tattoo idea or modify a design if I feel it is necessary for the quality, longevity, or proper placement of the tattoo.
Flash Tattoos
Flash tattoos are my original designs and are generally tattooed as shown. Minor adjustments to size or placement may be possible depending on the design.
Flash designs are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
Design Changes
For custom tattoos, please communicate any important changes or concerns about your design before your appointment whenever possible.
I want you to be happy with your tattoo, so please speak up if something doesn't feel right during the design process.
Once a tattoo has been approved and the appointment begins, significant design changes may require additional time and/or rescheduling.
Placement & Sizing
I reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to sizing or placement when necessary to ensure that the tattoo will heal properly and maintain its appearance over time.
Certain designs may require a minimum size due to their level of detail.
Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo.
A valid government-issued photo ID may be required before your appointment.
Guests
Please limit guests to one person, unless otherwise discussed with me beforehand, because of the size of the studio and lack of extra seating.
Guests must remain respectful of the studio environment and may be asked to leave if they interfere with the tattooing process.
Health & Safety
Please do not come to your appointment if you are sick, have a contagious illness, or have an active infection or irritation at the tattoo site. This is for both the safety of me and you, as getting a tattoo may cause any illness to become severe.
You should also avoid arriving under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Use of drugs are strictly forbidden on the premises.
Please let me know before your appointment about any allergies, sensitivities, or circumstances that may affect your tattooing experience.
Preparation
Please arrive with clean skin and wear clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed while keeping you comfortable.
Eat a proper meal and drink plenty of water before your appointment.
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption before your appointment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that things happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible.
At least 24 hours' notice is required to avoid losing your deposit.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the loss of your deposit.
No-shows will forfeit their deposit.
If an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Aftercare
You will receive aftercare instructions following your appointment. Proper aftercare is your responsibility and is essential to achieving the best possible healing result.
If you have concerns about your healing, please contact me rather than attempting to correct the issue yourself.
Painting & Artwork Policies
Please read the following policies before purchasing artwork or submitting a commission request. By purchasing artwork or commissioning a piece, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
Original Artwork
All original paintings are one-of-a-kind pieces created by me. Because of their unique nature, all original artwork sales are final.
Colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting, and display settings.
Artwork will be carefully packaged to help protect it during shipping.
Art Prints
Art prints are reproductions of my original artwork and are available in the sizes and formats listed with each piece.
If your print arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery and include photographs of the packaging and damaged artwork so I can determine the best way to resolve the issue.
Painting Commissions
Commission requests are not automatically accepted. Each request is reviewed individually based on the subject, size, materials, timeline, and current availability.
Once your commission is accepted, I will communicate with you about the concept, pricing, estimated timeline, and payment before beginning the piece. After determining all of this, I will send a commission contract based on all of the information we have agreed on.
A commission is not considered officially booked until the required deposit/payment has been received.
Commission Deposits & Payments
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to begin a painting commission.
The remaining balance will be due upon completion
If a commission is cancelled after work has begun, the deposit will not be refunded.
For larger or more expensive commissions, payment plans may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Commission Revisions
I want you to be happy with your commissioned piece, so I will communicate with you during the process when appropriate.
Minor changes may be possible during the planning stage. However, once significant painting has begun, major changes to the composition, subject, colors, or concept may require additional fees or may not be possible. We can add revisions to the contract if wanted (and it if is possible with the design).
Because paintings are original works of art, the finished piece may have artistic differences from reference images or initial sketches.
Reference Images
For commissions, you are responsible for providing reference images that you have permission to use.
I may use reference images as inspiration or as part of the painting process, but the final artwork will be an original interpretation rather than an exact reproduction.
Timeline
Commission timelines vary depending on the size, complexity, materials, and current workload.
I will provide an estimated completion timeframe when your commission is accepted. Please understand that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date.
If you need a painting by a specific date, please mention this before booking your commission so I can determine whether the deadline is possible.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs will be included in the listed price.
Once an artwork has been shipped, I am not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and provide photographs of the package and artwork so I can help determine the next steps.
Returns & Refunds
Original paintings, commissioned artwork, and art prints are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
If an item arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 3 days of delivery.
Artwork Rights
Purchasing an original painting or commissioned artwork does not transfer the artist's copyright.
I retain the copyright to my artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing. This means I may photograph, display, or share completed artwork for my portfolio, website, social media, exhibitions, and promotional purposes.
If you would like a commission to remain private, please discuss this with me before the commission begins.
